Become Part Of The 4-H Effect.

4-H PEI transforms local youth into confident, responsible, and compassionate leaders. By volunteering, you can play a pivotal role in this transformation, offering guidance and mentorship and leaving a lasting impact on tomorrow's leaders.

Beyond the gratification of helping youth fulfil their potential, being a 4-H volunteer is rewarding, fun and a chance to develop new skills.

Share your passion and knowledge, and become part of the 4-H Effect!

Project Instructors

At 4-H, youth learn to do by doing, and as a project instructor, you can spark their interest and build future leaders.

From cooking skills and fashion design to outdoor adventuring, fitness, science and carpentry, the activities are as diverse as our youth members.

If you have a passion (or even a bit of knowledge) in an area and want to pass that along to youth as an instructor, this role is for you.

Project Assistants

Project assistants play an important role in supporting a project instructor.

You will be the “team manager”, communicating with members and parents, scheduling sessions, collecting information and acting as a liaison between the instructor, participants and 4-H PEI.

And you might get to learn by doing too!

Event Coordinators

Do you have a knack for planning people and events? Maybe you’re the person who plans the friends' night out or family reunion.

Event coordinators assist their clubs with hosting events and activities, including our achievement year-end celebration, communications speech nights, and community service activities.

Here’s your opportunity to support our next Island leaders!

Regional & Provincial Roles

While the core activities of 4-H PEI happen in clubs in each community, various regional and provincial committees, events and activities also occur throughout the year.

If you have leadership skills and an interest in supporting Island youth, there may be additional opportunities.
