PEI 4-H Governance
The Prince Edward Island 4-H Council is responsible for overseeing the 4-H Program on PEI, establishing projects and policies through its Board of Directors, Executive, and Provincial Standing Committees. The Council manages the Administrative Director, who supervises the PEI 4-H staff. They actively seek support from donors and conduct an annual general meeting where volunteer leaders and representatives elect the Board and Executive Committee.​
Funding and Community Support
To sustain its operations, the program relies on annual contributions from both public and private donors. Additionally, regional 4-H Councils and 4-H Clubs strive to gather local support within their communities
Council Structure and Meetings
The PEI 4-H Council is composed of voting delegates from each club who convene early for the Annual General Meeting (AGM). From these delegates, a Board of Directors and an Executive Committee are elected to oversee Council activities throughout the 4-H year.
