Youth Safety Training
is now Virtual!

All Trained Volunteer Leaders are required to complete Youth Safety Training.

Volunteers do not have to complete this training if they have completed it in the past three years.

We are pleased to have been able to adopt the webinar and quiz that our colleagues in 4-H Alberta are using to share the Youth Safety Training with Volunteer Leaders.

You can now watch the webinar on your own terms and submit the quiz for recognition of completing this component in the Trained Volunteer Leader process.

Are Recruiting!

This year we are inviting any senior members who would like to be involved with the Member Advisory Committee to sign up. The deadline is November 15th - all you need to do is email the Provincial Office with your name, club and age.

The Youth Advisory Committee is a national youth voice for 4-H Canada. This group of 12 help drive the policy and decisions of 4-H Canada by meeting as a committee on a regular basis, making recommendations regarding programming, policy development, marketing and communications, while representing 4-H Canada at events and conferences. If you are a senior member and would like to be involved at the National level please send an email to request an application and further details about YAC.

Social Media Campaign

For the month of November we will be featuring individuals from across PEI who were once members of the 4-H organization on our Facebook page.

The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness of where 4-H members have ended up in life and the diverse career paths they have taken.

Being part of 4-H prepares you for your future career. You are developing decision-making, communication, and leadership skills – which are in demand in today’s workplace.

We would love to hear from alumni and share some “community icons” with current and future 4-H members so that they can see that 4-H can help

you “grow a future career!”
