For members who have not taken the 4-H PEI Equine Project before.

May 20 to June 3 (TBD) - ZOOM Q & A MEETING
June 3 to August 31 – ACHIEVEMENT DAY: We are hopeful members will be able to complete showing of livestock in person over the summer months - but alternatives will be looked at when we know more. If there are any members who do not have access to an animal to show but would still like to participate in the project please email Jackie at the 4-H office for an alternate assignment – firstname.lastname@example.org
August 31 – Final date for completed Project requirements (Indicated in Red) and Member Reflection
pages due to your 4-H Specialist.
PROJECT REQUIREMENT DETAILS:
ZOOM Q & A MEETING: These online meetings are a chance for members to ask leaders any questions that may have about the material they learned in the videos and articles, or any other project related information they need help with. Each member will be expected to email in one question 24 hours prior to the meeting – email@example.com
ONLINE KNOWLEDGE SCAVENGER HUNT: This online quiz is meant to be both a fun and educational way to learn about horse husbandry and industry. Members are encouraged to use the internet to find answers to any questions they don’t know.
OTHER ACTIVITIES: Project leads may wish to share additional resources with the members. If they do so these will be made available to members around May 13.
VIRTUAL PROJECT RESOURCES: All project materials (i.e. links to videos, articles, assignments, etc.) will be made available below on this page on the dates indicated above (only exception being the Zoom meeting login info which will be emailed directly to registered project participants). It is the members’ responsibility to check back to this page for all their project requirements.
