2020 SUMMER Project Manager

2 positions (Kensington & Souris)

This year will look a bit different for 4-H – but we are still looking to hire 2 positions for 8 weeks each, 35 hours/week at $12.85/hour 

These positions will work together and with 4-H staff on several projects:

  • Club Reorganization preparation

  • Marketing & Promotion of the 4-H Program with a new “Hands to Larger Service” initiative that will see 4-H members and leaders give back to their communities and PEI.

 

Qualifications 

  • Outgoing, enthusiastic and professional demeanor

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Experience working with youth

  • Ability to work and problem-solve independently and as a team member

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong computer skills and experience with word processing and database software

  • Comfortable working in an office setting and at public events

  • Familiarity with the 4-H program

  • Safe Food Handling Certificate and/or First Aid Training is an asset

  • Spoken and written French is an asset.

Applicants Must:

  • Be between 15-30 years old

  • Have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

  • Be prepared to work flexible hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends in various communities across PEI as well as spend some time in our Charlottetown office each week.

  • Be able to complete tasks involving physical labour, which might occasionally involve heavy lifting

  • Successfully pass a Police Record Search (including Vulnerable Sector Screening)
