As a member in the Beef Project, you will learn how to select a calf along with the proper feeding, grooming & caring for that animal.
You will also learn about judging & showmanship as well as beef housing, equipment & the beef industry.
Market Beef Project
In addition to the Beef Project, members have the opportunity to explore the Market Beef project where they learn how and actually carry out preparing an animal for market. This project coincides with the Easter Beef Show and Sale held each year in March where members can show and potentially sell their animal(s).
