Welcome 4-H'ers, Leaders & Families!!!
Whether you are new to 4-H, a returning member OR a volunteer leader, we've got you covered!!
-
Most clubs reorganize in the fall and are active through the winter months into the spring.
-
Each club is independent from one another, but typically members will meet once a month on a designated day for general information meetings. Project meetings for skill-based learning will be offered at times convenient for both members and volunteer leaders.
-
Membership is 9-21 years (age is as of January 1 of the current 4-H year)...some (not all) clubs across PEI offer a cloverbud program, which is Exploring 4-H for members 6-8 years.
-
Projects may vary depending on the club you join and the availability of volunteer leaders to teach the project. You can check with the 4-H Specialist in your area for project availability.
-
As a 4-H member you will have the opportunity to participate in many fun activities. These activities will help you achieve member completion at the end of the 4-H year. Celebration of member achievement takes place at the club's Achievement Day, usually held late spring/early summer.
